Don’t Update

I used to be able to Skype with my camera from about 9 or 10 feet away. I could zoom in and crop the image that my folks would see (nice close-up). Now, nothing! No zoom and no pan. LOUSY update Killed everthing!

Do not Update | The Dec 27 Update Breaks the Zoom Feature

Do not Update | The Dec 27 Update Breaks the Zoom Feature. As others have reported, this app worked very well for my C920 webcam for the past two years or so. The most recent update by Logitech breaks one of the most important shortcomings of the Logitech Webcams, their default zoom level that is not magnified/close enough. Logitech please fix this or revert back immediately as your app has broken a key feature for your expensive webcams. If this isn’t fixed quickly, I will have to replace my webcam as the present state looks unprofessional and I can’t use it for my work.

DO NOT UPDATE WITHOUT READING

As others have noted, this used to be a fine (in other words ok but not great) app for someone who mistakenly bought a C920 camera without knowing it wasn’t made for Macs. Since this update, it no longer controls my cam so it has one setting and one only. Not a real intimate Skype or Facetime experience when the camera shows the whole room with no ability to zoom, or pan. Thanks for nothing, Logitech!

On Yosemite, 1.1 update still zooms/pans C920

helpful tip - back the currently installed app up by copying and pasting the current one in the /Applications folder to your desktop, BEFORE updating. but i find for me this still works like always. i am still on yosemite so maybe this is really a el capitan compatibility problem. forgive logitech, remember they are the best user friendly high quality innovators for almost any kind of usb or bluetooth accessory. never lost a bet on logitech overall. great bang for buck company.

Missing exposure control, but works fine for me.

While I wish the app had a control for exposure instead of brightness, this makes my new CS920 serviceable. I’m running El Capitan. Zoom works, pan works. I’m not sure what the prior version did differently, and I’ve heard rumors that the Windows version sllows face tracking, but overall this makes the camera workable. I was going to return the camera to Amazon, but this way I’m pretty content.

Latest update fixes zoom & pan.

Very excited to see the update for this. Can now zoom & pan. After months of using the built-in Apple cam, I can now use my C910 again with zoom and pan controls enabled. That said, the camera tends to overzoom on widescreen settings, making it difficult to frame myself, but works better on standard setting. Not sure why that’s the case. But, being able to zoom & pan at least allows a much better shot than what I had before, and better than the built-in camera.

Does what I need it to!

So happy to have found this app! My C910 doesn’t have an option to adjust the color balance and it was way off! This app is really easy to use and does exactly what I need it to do. The only thing I would add to it is the ability to save the settings, tried the Save button but it didn’t work. Otherwise it’s perfect. Thanks!

Please add support for Logitech HD Webcam C310!!

Please add support for Logitech HD Webcam C310!! And add more option like in app on Windows!!

Please remember my settings

My computer isn’t moving. My setup stays the same. So why do all of the color, pan, zoom, and tilt settings reset every time, even though I hit the “save” button in the app? PLEASE, Logitech, add the ability to save personalized defaults so that I don’t have to launch the app and redo all the settings EVERY time I reboot my computer or log out and back in. It’s really annoying. I can never fully trust that the settings are what I want them to be.
